ASIIN General Criteria for the Accreditation of Degree Programmes
The ASIIN General Criteria describe
- The principles according to which the accreditation procedures are designed
- The requirements for the accreditation of degree programmes.
The ASIIN General Criteria are subject to critical review on a regular basis and adapted to current developments and results from accreditation practice.
The version in force at the time of the beginning of the accreditation procedure – the signing of the contract of the procedure – is the version to be applied.
These General Criteria apply to accreditation procedures for an individual degree programme and for clusters of degree programmes (cluster procedure).
Subject-specific Criteria
The ASIIN Requirements and Procedural Principles are complemented by Subject-specific Criteria (SSC) for the individual disciplines, which are published in separate documents. These are also revised on a regular basis and published in their most current version on this website.
