Accreditation Commission for Degree Programmes

The ASIIN Accreditation Commission for Degree Programmes carries out the following tasks:

• Defining the procedural principles and standards for the accreditation of degree programmes in engineering, informatics, the natural sciences, mathematics and related fields
• Taking necessary actions for the international recognition of the accredited degrees
• Appointing the Audit Team for the degree programmes to be accredited. When appointing the Audit Team, the Commission must consider the recommendations of the Technical Committees in an appropriate manner
• Deciding on the accreditation of the degree programmes based on the expert opinions of the Audit Teams and the statement of the Technical Committee
• Maintaining and publishing the list of accredited degree programmes
• Appointing the Technical Committees
• Instructing and training auditors
• Reporting on the Commission’s activities to the Board of Directors of the agency
