International networking
One goal of the foundation of the ASIIN association is in line with a goal of the Bologna Process: the mutual recognition of national accreditations.
ASIIN e. V. follows the international recognition of its accreditation and the underlying quality expectations to higher education also beyond the European space of higher education, and it is therefore involved in various organisations and networks.
This involvement happens in a two-track manner: by the exchange with quality peers and HEI systems of other countries we are learning a lot about the improvement of our own work.
ASIIN e. V. pursues European and international networking with the following methods:
- Projects for the development of subject-related, at least European-wide coordinated requirements for the accreditation of degree programmes of individual fields. Such projects lead to sustainable structures and joint quality seals, which are evidenced by the labels EUR-ACE®, Eurobachelor®/Euromaster® and Euro-Inf®.
- Admission as accreditation agency to various national systems in accordance with the local directives.
- Memberships in leading European and international umbrella organisations for quality work in higher education from a disciplinary and cross-subject perspective.
- Cooperation with organisations actively involved in the networking of national HEI area for the mutual recognition of quality standards and accreditation decisions or directly involved in the quality review of a country.
