International accreditation seal
In the course of an ASIIN accreditation procedure the following quality seals may be acquired irrespective of the national or regional localisation of the Higher Education Institution (HEI) after positive outcome of the procedure:
- Quality seal for degree programmes (programme accreditation): each HEI acquires the ASIIN seal for a degree programme accredited by the ASIIN Accreditation Commission for Degree Programmes, irrespective of the state the HEI is located in.
- Quality seal for QM systems: each HEI acquires the ASIIN seal for a quality management system (in the area of studying and teaching) accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Systems. This seal only applies to the reviewed quality management system and, where applicable, it is limited to the area of study and teaching.
- In addition, specific directives also pertaining to the award of the quality seal must be observed in individual countries (e.g. Switzerland, the Netherlands). The ASIIN programme managers will be happy to discuss the national particularities with you
Subject-related labels
Within an ASIIN accreditation procedure it is possible to acquire specific quality seals (labels) in addition to the ASIIN seal for specific subjects. As a basic rule, ASIIN e. V. is authorised by a European or international association/network to award such a subject-related quality seal in the course of the procedure, provided that pertinent requirements are met.
Currently, the following subject-related quality seals may be additionally applied for with ASIIN e. V.:
- EUR-ACE® label for the area of engineering
- Eurobachelor® / Euromaster® label for the area of chemistry.
In addition, ASIIN e. V. as member of the European Network EQANIE e.V. may provide information on the procedure and criteria of the acquirement offor acquiring the Euro-Inf® label in the area of computer science.
